Courses Offered

The Veterinary Technology Program teaches real-world skills to start students’ path toward a vet tech career.

It covers the different care, clinical, and laboratory responsibilities of a vet tech, such as:

• Bathing, trimming nails, cutting hair, brushing, and other grooming procedures
• Observing animal behavior and checking their condition
• Administering first aid
• Preparing equipment for surgery
• Restraining animals during exams and procedures
• Conducting X-rays, blood counts, lab tests, and other diagnostic procedures

The entire program takes approximately 19 months to complete and awards an Associate of Science Degree to the graduates.
