The Veterinary Technology Program is a 24-month Associate Degree Program approved by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

It is designed to educate and train students on a wide range of veterinary technician responsibilities, including:

The program requires 1,160 hours of lecture and laboratory on campus and 420 hours of externship and clinical rotations off-campus.

Upon successful completion, graduates can test for the Veterinary Technology National Exam through the American Association of Veterinary State Boards.

They will also be eligible to submit for licensure by the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners.
