About the School

Weatherford College is a community college that serves the counties of Hood, Jack, Palo, Parker, Pinto, and Wise in the state of Texas.

They were established in 1869 and are the oldest continuing community college west of the Mississippi River.

The program requires a total of 60 credits.

Upon successful completion, they will receive an Associate Degree and become eligible to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Examination and the Texas State Board Exam to obtain their Veterinary Technology License.

The Veterinary Technology Program prepares students for the responsibilities of a vet tech working in a veterinary hospital, private practice, laboratories, and other facilities.
