Texas A&M University – Kingsville is a public research university located in Kingsville, TX.

Courses Offered

The Veterinary Technology Program is designed to emphasize large animals, wildlife, and laboratory animals to gain expertise that meets the future needs of animal care.

It is one of the only 28 programs in the country that offer a 4-year bachelor’s degree.

Each fall, it admits only 30 students, allowing for small class sizes and individual attention.

Classes are held in the campus’ state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot teaching facility that houses classrooms, student study areas, laboratory spaces, surgical and radiology rooms, animal housing areas, and other teaching spaces.

They are taught by exceptional instructors with experiences in various veterinary medicine fields, such as research, production animal medicine, wildlife, zoo and exotic medicine, and emergency medicine.
